As the Winnetka Park District prepares for its annual Fourth of July Parade, Winnetka real estate broker, AG Krone is doing some preparation of her own. As she has for the past several years, AG will drive her mint condition, 1929 Model A Ford in the parade.

Other parade attractions this year include the Jesse White Tumblers, National Champion Jazz Steppers, pipe bands, Dixieland bands, orchestras, Irish dancers, Uncle Sam and much more.

The parade begins at 10 am from Elm and Glendale, passing the Koenig & Strey office on its way the Village Green where there will be a flag-raising ceremony, children’s flag parade, and family races beginning at 11:00 am.

Staring at 6:30 pm is the Fourth Fest held at Duke Child’s Field. The festival features food from local restaurants, face painters, a moon walk and a concert by Jin & Tonic. The fireworks round out this festive day at 9:15 complete with music accompaniment.
